'I'm delighted with all the results - all the girls worked really hard and thoroughly deserved their excellent marks,' said Sue Bradbury, the school's speech and drama tutor. 'We do a range of activities in the lessons but the most important thing is for the pupils to have fun and to build their own confidence.
'Having the ability to voice an opinion, give a talk, perform on stage or answer questions in an interview-type situation are all highly useful skills in today's society and all the girls have shown that they are very capable of doing that.'
With the exams behind them, the girls entertained parents and friends to a devised piece of theatre at the end of term.
