The most important thing is to come and see Truro High for yourself. Take a bit of time to look around the school and picture your daughter taking part in all the things we do.

Open Days

Our Open Days will offer you the chance to see our first-class facilities including our theatre, dance studio and engineering room and, perhaps more importantly, will tell you more about the benefits your daughter could reap by being part of a small school focused entirely on providing a first-class education for girls.

You will be able to talk to current pupils, staff and parents and try out a whole host of exciting and fun activities.

Our next Virtual Open Days will take place on…

Senior School Virtual Open Day – 20 April – 4.30-5.30pm
Prep School Virtual Open Day – 22 April – 1.00-2.00pm

Private Tours

We are more than happy to give you a private tour of the school with our Headmistress during a normal working day. A typical visit lasts one and a half hours and we would encourage you to bring your daughter with you.

Taster Days

Once you have visited the school, the next step is to arrange a Taster Day. This will be organised to suit your daughter’s schedule and that of the relevant year group. Prospective pupils join us for a normal school day or two and will be looked after by a host pupil at all times.

We have found the Taster Day to be enormously useful in giving girls the chance to get to know their new classmates and to experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere here first hand. There is no charge and school lunch is provided. Those girls seeking a boarding place will also be invited for a Taster Sleepover.

What’s the next step?

Mrs Jo Norriss is our Registrar and can answer any questions you may have – no matter how big or small. Jo is also the person to organise a tour or taster day at a time to suit you so please do not hesitate to give her a call on 01872 242902 or email registrar@trurohigh.co.uk
