Charlotte, Grace, Rosie, Maya, Erin, Maddie, Charlie, Isabella, Helena, Holly and Miriam have led the campaign to send lovingly wrapped presents filled with a mixture of festive goodies and everyday essentials since they were 11-years-old. 

Today the girls sent off a delivery of nearly 70 presents to the charity Link to Hope, which sends boxes of gifts to families and elderly people in Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine.

Whilst not all the girls could be there today to send this year’s gifts off, they have all have been instrumental in promoting and organising their last shoebox appeal at school before passing on the mantle to the next generation.

Year 13 Maddie said: “It’s such an amazing cause and it’s incredibly meaningful to have supported it for so long. I’m a little sad that this is our last year leading the appeal but it’s a huge achievement – I can’t wait to see the tradition carrying on.”
