Year 13 boarder Nicole is celebrating having received offers to read Psychology at UK Top 10 universities Bath, Durham, King’s College London and UCL.

UCL ranks top in the UK and 4th in the world for Psychology in the Times Higher Education World University rankings.

Both part of the prestigious Russell Group, King’s College London places 4th in the UK for Psychology in the QS University World Rankings 2021 whilst Durham ranks in the Top 10 Psychology Departments in the country in the QS Rankings and Top 10 for graduate prospects by the Times Good University Guide 2021.

Bath places 4th in the UK for Psychology in both the Complete University Guide and the Guardian University Guide.

Nicole said: “I am overjoyed to get offers from such amazing universities. Having opportunities such as the Aspiring Medics programme, mental health first aid qualifications and a personal, degree-level research project in Psychology not only allowed me to gain experience and learn new skills; but were also things which gave me real edge when applying!”

“The boarding experience at Truro High has been amazing and, quite truthfully, I’m a bit sad that my two years are coming to an end so soon! Boarding here has allowed me to become more independent and responsible which I think will really benefit me with my transition to university.”

Nicole currently studies A Level Psychology, Chemistry and Biology. Her ultimate goal is to work as a clinical and behavioural psychologist.
