She has received offers to study Business Management at Newcastle, Southhampton, Sheffield, Southhampton, Coventry and Swansea.
Both part of the prestigious Russell Group, Newcastle and Sheffield’s triple crown accreditations – an accolade which is held by less than 1% of all business schools worldwide – place them within the global elite of business schools.
Also part of the Russell Group, Sheffield is ranked top 10 in the UK for Business, Management and Marketing (2020 Guardian University Guide) and third in the UK for marketing (2020 University Complete Guide).
Coventry Business School ranks 15th in the 2020 Guardian University League Table whilst Swansea is a UK Top 30 Business School for Research Excellence.
Yannes said: “I felt extremely excited when I found out – I immediately phoned my parents to tell them even though it was the middle of the night in Hong Kong!”
Yannes joined the school as a boarder in Year 10 and currently studies Business Studies, Mathematics, Art and Food & Nutrition at A Level.
She continued: “The boarding experience I’ve had here has been amazing – the places I’ve been and people I’ve met have really broadened my horizons. I’m so glad that I have chose to board at Truro High, it has enriched my life so much.”
