Prep 5 Holly, Prep 5 Naomi, Prep 6 Victoria, Year 7 Oriana, Year 7 Lauren and Year 7 Imogen together scooped an impressive four trophies, two podium places and a host of honorary commendations.

All the girls impressed the judges with every single one scoring an impressive 84 marks or above in their class.

The prestigious music festival attracts participants of all ages from Cornwall and the South West providing a platform for amateur musicians and verse speakers of all ages and abilities to showcase their talents.

Having won the Grade 5 & 6 violin solo trophy, it was a particularly momentous day for Prep 6 Victoria who was invited to take part in the evening Gala Performance on Saturday where she was presented with the ‘most promising junior strings player’ cup.

Year 7s Oriana and Lauren were also jumping for joy when they won the Grades 3 & 4 piano duet cup. Lauren also took home the Grades 3 & 4 piano solo trophy and Oriana won 2nd place.

There was also a strong showing from our girls in the grades 1 & 2 piano solo class with Prep 5 Holly, Year 7 Ella and Year 7 Imogen all achieving Highly Commended marks whilst Prep 5 Naomi earned a Distinction and placed 3rd overall.
