The ‘Get Active’ platform offers girls of all ages access to a number of ideas and challenges relating to their regular PE curriculum.

The PE department has set up several channels, each under the headline of a different sport, and will be posting weekly challenges or new skills to try and to practice.

Director of Sport, Miss Kat Redd said “It’s all about giving the girls as much variety as possible. The idea is that there will be at least two channels they can access regularly without being limited by lack of equipment or space. We are hopeful that they will be able to access more, and I know that they will be trying out lots of exciting new things during this period of social-distancing.”

This term the focus is set to be on summer sports including athletics, tennis, cricket and rounders. There will also be channels for dance, fitness and a variety of team games and the PE department is currently busy populating these channels with a wide variety of videos and exciting new content.
