We know how much our parents value being part of our community so, whilst we’re sorry that restrictions mean that we can’t see you all right now, we want to give our families opportunities to get together virtually.

We are therefore delighted to be partnering with Philleigh Way Cookery School for two exclusive online cookery courses specially hosted just for our families on 10 and 13 March.

Tickets for each course are priced at a special Truro High price of £10 and, of course, families are allowed to join in if you fancy having a few sous chefs in the kitchen.

The ‘30 Minute Meals’ course, which takes place on Wednesday 10 March at 4pm, will offer families the chance to prepare a gourmet weeknight dinner under the expert tuition of Philleigh Way owner and former professional rugby player, Rupert Cooper. The course will run for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Saturday 13 March will see dough taking centre stage for the cookery school’s ‘Bread’ course. Rupert will take families through the whole process including the chemistry of bread making.

The course will consist of two 1 hour sessions starting at 10am and 2pm. The day is fun, informative and most of all you’ll finish with plenty of spoils from the day’s baking.

Truro High families have received a link to book on to the courses in today’s school newsletter.

Philleigh Way will send families recipe cards and prep sheets ahead of their chosen courses.
