The NHS is under immense strain at the moment and items such a fabric face masks are in short supply despite being absolutely vital. In response to the current PPE shortage, we are partnering with Cathedral View Care Home to provide the fabric face masks which they desperately need to keep their staff and clients safe.

The Care Home says that whilst it has a number of plastic protective visors, it is desperately short of the fabric masks needed for its staff to safely carry out the vital work they do.

We are now on the hunt for keen sewers to help construct these lifesaving items. The masks can be made from the safety of your home and we will have face mask drop off points here at school.

If you would like to find out more or would be willing to be part of the THS Textiles Army, please email events@trurohigh.co.uk. Your support in any way, big or small, would be hugely appreciated.
