Few could resist the opportunity to travel the world and gain invaluable teaching experience whilst doing it. It’s no surprise then that our latest cohort of students taking part in ‘Teaching English as a Foreign Language’ UK-TEFL training couldn’t wait to get stuck in with their course this week.

During the two-day certified course, the girls covered everything they would need to know to enter the world of English Foreign Language teaching and get prepared for an exciting adventure around the globe with this fantastic career opportunity. The course was open to students aged 16 and over.

The qualification is hugely respected by universities and employers alike and offers an invaluable opportunity to help enhance UCAS and PGCE applications, find volunteering opportunities and make students stand out from the crowd when looking for paid work.

The course was staged as part of the school’s comprehensive ‘Future Ready’ Programme. The school offers a range of accredited professional qualifications and training in order to support our girls in their personal development and best prepare them for the world of work. These include the Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification, Mental Health First Aid Qualification and RLSA Lifeguard Qualification to name but a few.
