4 May 2010 / Founder's Day Service

I am writing to let you know that this year's Founder's Day service will be at 2.15 pm on Thursday 6 May 2010 in the Cathedral.

All Senior School pupils will be attending the service, which should last about one hour. The guest speaker is Miss Becky Plunkett, an Old Girl of Truro High and recent graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

You are most welcome to come to the service and, if you can make it, please be seated by 2:00 pm.

Following the service we would also like to invite you to join us back at school for the official launch of the 130th Anniversary of the school. We will be cutting the 130th Anniversary Cake and serving tea from 3.30 pm.

This will take place on the grass tennis courts unless weather dictates us moving into the Dining Room. We will also be launching the 'Buy/Be a Brick Campaign' and saying goodbye to a number of staff who have already left the school.

We do hope you will join us and should be grateful if you could email your attendance at tea - giving total numbers - to or by telephoning our School Secretary, Katrina, on 01872 242933.

I look forward to seeing you.

Yours sincerely

Caroline Pascoe Headmistress
