    Truro High's got talent and, to prove it, girls from Year 7 upwards competed in a fiercely contested series of heats to get through to the final of the school's version of Britain's Got Talent.   • 23 March 2011 / THE SKY'S THE LIMIT FOR RAF SIXTH FORM SCHOLAR

    Upper Sixth Former Rebecca Martin-Bawden was presented with her Sixth Form Scholarship by Flight Lieutenant Stuart Hammond RAF, in assembly recently. It represents a one-year financial payment  given by the Royal Air Force to Rebecca in recognition of her leadership and academic ability and, in her case particularly, tremendous commitment to the Air Cadets. About 1000 applicants applied nationally and of these 300 were interviewed and 10 awards were given to those in the South West region which runs from Swansea and Cardiff to Bristol and Lands End. Rebecca is currently studying English Literature, Music and Philosophy & Ethics at A level with a view to reading Law at University.
