The grand opening of our new Art Gallery and Exhibition space last week was a fabulous celebration of the wonderful variety of artistic talent that is cultivated here at Truro High.

Headmistress, Mrs Sarah Matthews said: “We look forward to this fantastic new space providing not just the opportunity for our students to exhibit their art, but also for them to enjoy the work of visiting artists. The new space will also be utilised by the music department for master classes with visiting musicians and to allow smaller audiences to delight in chamber concerts.”

The event had a wonderful atmosphere offering the chance to see visually arresting and thought-provoking pieces of work from artists of all ages as well as performances from our Prep School Rock Steady bands and the incredible ensembles created by our GCSE and A Level students at a catwalk fashion show.

We would like to say a huge well done to every artist, designer and performer involved.
