Last week, we were delighted to welcome two esteemed Ghanaian Teachers of the Year, Felix and Abenaa, from the Roman Ridge School in Accra, to experience life at Truro High.

Felix, an expert in Othello studies, engaged in lively discussions with our Sixth Form English Literature students, sharing insights and perspectives on the text. Meanwhile, Abenaa, a French teacher, had the opportunity to teach her subject and immerse herself in our language lessons, exploring Spanish and Latin alongside our students.

Both Felix and Abenaa were deeply impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and academic excellence at Truro High. They commended our girls for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and dedication to learning, highlighting the dynamic and supportive environment that fosters intellectual growth and exploration.

Their visit was a testament to the rich exchange of ideas and experiences that occurs within our school community, transcending borders and enriching educational opportunities for all involved. We know they are keen to return and we hope to see them again in the future!
