Last week, there were A Level celebrations for Jolie who earned the grades needed to secure her place at the top veterinary school in the world, the Royal Veterinary College.

It’s been a long journey that has seen her excel in a demanding admissions process and the strength of Jolie’s application resulted in her receiving offers from The Royal Veterinary College; City University Hong Kong; and the University of Bristol.

Jolie said: “The Aspiring Medics programme has offered me so many opportunities to talk to vets and other professionals, which has given me a realistic picture of the career and prepared me to perform my best in my interviews. Everything from taking part in Operating Theatre Live to horse riding club has got me to where I am now and being able to take on leadership roles has also been so helpful too.”

“The key thing has been the support and guidance from my teachers. Their constant support has made me more confident and believed that I can achieve my dream. Without them, I would not have gone this far.”
