Truro High School was a whirlwind of literary magic this week, as everyone came together to celebrate World Book Day! So many fantastic costumes, there’s so many pictures to share, as the corridors and classrooms were filled with beloved book characters brought to life, by students and teachers from Prep to Sixth Form.
From Fantastic Mr Fox to Matilda, Little Red Riding Hood to Peter Rabbit, and The Wizard of Oz to Anne of Green Gables, the range of costumes was truly impressive. Practically the entire cast of Harry Potter made an appearance too, as one of our Year 9 form groups took on the challenge of getting as many students and teachers involved as possible.
It was a fantastic day, celebrating the power of books, creativity and imagination. Thank you to all those who got involved, including parents and family members at home who helped create such wonderful costumes!
