Once the results of their A Levels are available in August, the girls are set to study at internationally renowned institutions ranging from the University of Edinburgh to King’s College London. They will study a diverse selection of subjects including Medicine, Interior Design, Law, Astrophysics, English, Textiles Innovation, Modern Languages, Classical Studies, Midwifery, Animal Behaviour, Accounting, Biology, Physics, Drama and Music.

Even more impressive, nearly 20% of students have earned unconditional places at their first choice universities.

83% of girls have earned offers from at least one Russell Group institution, if not many. These include Eleanor who earned offers from King’s College London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool to read Classical Studies and Ancient History.  Her first choice, KCL, ranks in the top five universities in the UK for Classics.

There have also been celebrations for Miriam who received offers to study English at her top choice university – Exeter. Miriam’s impressive application has resulted in the university’s Streatham and Penryn campuses both vying to take her on to their prestigious English courses. English at Exeter is 4th in the UK for research power with wide expertise across the subject, and in the Top 10 in all of the UK university league tables.

Keen actress and singer Helena has also hit a high note this week earning a place to study Drama and Music at Royal Holloway. Royal Holloway ranks 17th in the world and 6th in the UK for performing arts.

There have also been many celebrations in our STEM faculty. These range from Maddie who has earned places to study Astrophysics at world-leading universities, Edinburgh, Manchester and Leicester to Charlie who has received sought after offers from top UK medical schools – Bristol, Manchester, Cardiff and Nottingham.

These are just some examples of the phenomenal success the school’s students have achieved.

Some students have also decided to apply to university following a gap year. Deputy Head Girl, Justine, for example, is well on track to study Slavic languages at the Sorbonne after taking a year out. In that time, she aims to become a Level 1 CrossFit coach and travel through Russia, France and Spain to become fluent in all three languages. Having conquered Everest last year, she also plans to reach the summit of Okanagan Mountain in Canada.
