Year 8s Gwener and Lauren selected to perform in G7 World Peace Concert

Year 8s Gwener and Lauren are two of just 14 singers who were selected to perform a special piece in the G7 World Peace Concert.

Arranged by one of the G7’s guest nations, South Korea, the concert took place on Friday afternoon at All Saints Church in Falmouth and featured the 14-strong group, singers from Cornwall Music Education Hub’s Cornwall County Youth Choir and the Cornish Sinfonia.

Korean and Swiss delegates from the G7 attended the concert which was live streamed and televised across South Korea.

Lauren and Gwener are very honoured to have been part of this prestigious international event and were even gifted traditional South Korean dresses to perform in.
