Truro High Year 8 Lauren has earned the rare distinction of being selected to take part in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’s ‘Global High Scorers’ virtual concert.

The 12-year-old’s selection comes as a result of her receiving an extremely high distinction in her Grade 6 Piano exam.

Places in the performance are reserved for those students who have exceptionally high distinction grades during the course of the year. These top musicians come from all across the globe recording their performances from countries including China, India, Iran, the USA, Vietnam, South Africa, New Zealand, the UK, Singapore and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The concert will air on YouTube this Friday, 25 June.
