Pitted against the county’s top teams, it was an impressive day on the courts for the girls who won every match they played in the tournament’s preliminary stages as well as the quarter and semi-finals.

Even more impressive, the team won all of these matches by an average of 5 points.

A nail-biting final saw the team pipped at the post for the county champion title by Truro School, who they had already proudly beaten 11-4 in the preliminary stages of the tournament.

As a result of their success, the team will now take on the best of the South West at the regional tournament in January.
