Congratulations to our Senior School actors, musicians, performers and technical crew, who took to the stage last week for the annual Senior School production, Little Shop of Horrors!

Featuring girls from Year 7 to 13, the show transported the audience to Skid Row, New York, narrating the comedic story of a hapless florist shop worker who raises a giant man-eating plant.

The girls hard work, passion, dedication and teamwork has shone through each scene and song. With 4 fully sold-out shows, it was a truly unforgettable week for both our girls taking part, and the audience members who have come along to see it.

Mrs Allan, Director of Drama, said:

“The whole creative team involved in this production have been truly in awe of what our girls have managed to achieve. This production has been technically challenging in many ways: from tricky harmonies, numerous fast-paced ensemble numbers and complex puppetry manipulation to very quick costume and set changes. The cast and crew have risen to these challenges every time with enthusiasm and focus. They’ve been excellent problem-solvers and collaborators both in rehearsal and performance. They have given up a lot of time to make this production what it is; their hard work has definitely paid off. As a director, to be able to sit in the auditorium and watch the production during its run is an absolute privilege. It is also an indication of how committed this young company is; they have made ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ their own and I’m very proud of each and every one of them.”

A special thanks to:
