The girls have undertaken a huge number of challenges throughout the year ranging from walking to school for the whole of September to completing 140 hours of reading in February.

Now they have challenged themselves to complete 140km in daily walks this May. Come rain or shine, the sisters have taken a walk before and after school managing nearly 5km on most days.

It follows their ‘September Stroll’ walk to school challenge, which aimed to help them reduce their carbon footprint and be kind to the planet. They walked over 120km over the course of September and are close to beating this record with their latest endeavour.

Could your daughter undertake the next challenge to mark 140 years since Bishop Benson founded the High School in 1880? From climbing mountains and charitable acts to setting themselves an ambitious personal goal, we hope that all our girls will embrace the opportunity to complete a challenge to commemorate this milestone, whether that be solo or with friends. No challenge is too big or too small.
