What a way to finish Lent Term! On 25 March, we joined in the Hall for Cornwall for our 2024 Dance Show LIVE! Months of planning, preparation and rehearsals all down to one big night - and what an incredible night it was!

Over 300 girls – that’s almost 80% of the school! – courageously took to the Hall for Cornwall stage to dance their hearts out and perform to a packed 1000-strong audience of family, friends, teachers and peers.

We enjoyed show-stopping jazz, tap, ballet, modern and contemporary routines from groups across the school – from our most fearless Pre-Prep right up to our fantastic Sixth Formers. We were also treated to show-stopping solos by Celia (Year 11), Marcy (Year 12), Lucia (Year 10), Tula (Year 10) and Ingrid (Year 12). The show was closed by a special ‘Little Mermaid’ ballet, choreographed by Clare Meardon from Savvy Studios, that included over 100 talented dancers from Prep and Senior School.

Congratulations to all of our dancers who graced the stage with poise and confidence!

Thank you to all those who attended and filled the Hall for Cornwall with joy, support, and roof-raising rounds of applause! A special thank you to our Choreographers: Miss Meardon, Mrs Rapier, Mrs Woodruff, Mrs Riordan, Mrs Norman-Jones and Mrs Levin.

Thank you also to the Costume department: Savvy Studios, Kids R Us St Ives, and the THS Art Department with artist Sue Loydell.
