Charlotte opened her results today to find she had achieved A*s in Psychology and Geography and A in English plus an A* in EPQ. She is now heading to Durham to read Combined Honours in Social Sciences.

Charlotte left Truro High after GCSEs but regretted that decision, returning after Year 12 to begin her A Level studies again.

Charlotte said: “I went away for a year but it was clear that if I stayed where I was I wasn’t going to get the grades I needed. It was a big decision to re-start Year 12 but coming back to Truro High was the right thing to do. The teaching staff just care so much about the students. It’s a really personal relationship and they cannot help you enough. Anything you need, they are there for you.”
