This weekend saw the 11-year-old scoop three golds and a silver at the Cornwall Hunter Trials resulting in her qualifying for the competition’s National Championships, which take place next year.

She will compete in 60cm, 70cm and 80cm solo sections as well as the 60cm pairs.

Even more impressive, Arabella started competing in 70cm classes this July whilst this was only her second time competing in the 80cm class.

It’s an exciting time for the young jockey who this month swept the honours board at the Four Burrow Hunt Pony Club Open Showjumping competition. She won the 70cm and 80cm classes as well as being awarded two special cups for the best 70cm and 80cm rider overall.

150 of Cornwall’s brightest and best show jumpers attended the event and there were so many entries in Arabella’s riding classes that both had to be split.

Her fantastic performance qualified her for the 80cm Area Finals, which take place in the spring of next year.
