Peripatetic LAMDA Teacher and Co-Ordinator

Required for January 2020 start

Truro High School is looking to recruit a LAMDA Teacher and Co-Ordinator to be employed on a peripatetic basis from January 2020.

The School has approximately 60 girls, from Prep 5 to Year 13 taking LAMDA lessons on a weekly basis.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the allocation of paired lessons to pupils, ensuring a fair rotation through the academic day, and liaise with other LAMDA teachers to ensure the required demand is met.

The post-holder will be required to join the School staff and payroll, being paid for lessons taught plus 2 lessons a week administrative time.  Being able to offer an after-school club is desirable but not essential.

Hourly rate £20.94

Support Staff Vacancies

Part-time Lifeguard Supervisor

 (evening and weekend working)

Required for immediate start

We are seeking two Lifeguard Supervisors to work on a part-time basis in our School Swimming Pool.  The swimming pool is open out of normal school hours and therefore the role entails evening and weekend work, plus working during some school holidays.  One role covers Sunday morning and Monday & Tuesday evenings, the second Wednesday to Friday evenings and Saturday morning.

The Lifeguard Supervisor will work alongside a Pool Lifeguard to monitor pool activities and ensure the safety of all pool users.   You will be responsible for unlocking and locking the swimming pool and for supervising the Pool Lifeguard you are working alongside.  You will be required to check water temperature, pH and chlorine levels and set up equipment as required. You will possess a Pool Lifeguard qualification or be prepared to train for one.
