We are incredibly proud to announce that The High School has been named as a Greenpower Centre of Excellence in recognition of its outstanding contribution and commitment to encouraging motorsport in schools.

The prestigious award recognises the school’s role as a hub of excellence for Greenpower engineering in Cornwall and its support to other Greenpower teams around the county.

Announcing the award, Greenpower Project Manager Vaughan Curnow said: “I have worked closely with The High School throughout its Greenpower journey and it’s fantastic that the school is now a Greenpower Centre of Excellence for Cornwall.” He added: “The team at the school have been real ambassadors for Cornwall, competing in many race events including Goodwood and Silverstone. It is great to think that they will now be offering support and expertise to other local schools to enable them to also take part in this amazing Greenpower Electric Car project. Now an official Greenpower Centre of Excellence for Cornwall, we are excited to see what The High School achieves not only in supporting other schools, but within future race events over the coming years.”
