Sienna impressed the South West assessors and coaches at the Netball Futures Trials last weekend leading to her claiming one of the highly sought-after spots at the Team Bath 15+ Hub.

Only 100 girls were chosen out of the South West’s top netball players in a long and rigorous selection process. Hundreds of the top players from Gloucestershire, Somerset, Avon, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall tried out for this elite programme.

Even more impressive, places on the programme are usually reserved for girls aged 15 and over.

It’s an exciting time for the young netball player who, in one season alone, has made it all the way from under 13 Satellite Academy and Cornwall County under 15s to this elite regional hub.

As part of the training programme, Sienna will now benefit from top-class coaching as well as lifestyle and sports science support. The Team Bath Futures Pathway has a strong track record of developing Superleague and international players.

The week has been topped off with the announcement that Sienna’s hard work and dedication to her netball club, Saints Netball Cornwall, has resulted in the team winning the county league title for the 2018/19 season.
