The development programme will further the skills of advanced club swimmers, already swimming at county or regional level, who are seeking stroke improvement. The course will also be suitable for competent recreational swimmers able to swim at least 50m front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.

The sessions will be available two mornings a week – to be selected from Monday/Tuesday/Friday – from 7am-8am with swimmers then able to take up the option of breakfast in the Dining Hall before school. The cost per training session will be approximately £8 (to be confirmed once numbers are known). Bookings will be made on a termly basis with the cost of the training added to your school bill.

The course leaders will be three of the county’s top swim coaches from Cornish Swim Academy. Lee Stanbury is Head Coach at St Ives Bay Swimming Club as well as being Head of the Cornish Swim Academy. He is a national Age group finalist and finished 3rd in the European Masters Championship.

With 30 years’ experience behind him, Lee is the perfect person to lead our squad. Heading up the course alongside Lee will be Cameron Russell, Level 3 coach and current Head Coach for Bodmin Dragons and Matt Hill, Head Coach of Penzance Swimming Club.
