Pitted against Europe’s top shooters, Alice Wilson excelled in the English Open Championships held at the Olympic shooting ground at Bisley. She headed home with a silver medal in the under 21 competition and ranked fifth overall in the senior championship.

The event, which is the last major competition of the shooting season, attracts the top shooters from across Europe and is renowned for the high-calibre standard which competitors perform at.

Even more impressive, Alice was the youngest competitor to make it to the last 8 in the senior final and also had the highest qualification score by an under 21.

Alice is currently the County, Regional and Welsh Open rifle shooting champion, an international gold medallist and competes with the Great Britain Talent Squad for rifle and pistol shooting.

She continues to go from strength to strength at the country’s top shooting events as she drives towards her ultimate ambition of representing Team GB at the 2020 Olympic Games.
