Prep 6 Molly Adams impressed at the Cury Hunt Horse Riding Trials on Sunday where, competing in the midi class, she proved herself in a class of 60 riders. The junior section was for competitors aged 18 and under, meaning Molly was by the far the youngest rider in the class.

Competitors were expected to clear twenty metre high fences in an optimum time with penalties for those who were too fast or slow.

Earlier this year, Molly qualified for the National Show Jumping Championships. Due to a ligament injury for her pony Caddie, the pair were unfortunately not able to compete in this prestigious competition.

Molly has been riding her new pony Robin for two weeks now and her winning streak has clearly returned. Molly has been riding since she was 2, but has only taken up the sport competitively in the last 12 months. She rides daily and competes in dressage, show jumping and cross country competitions regularly.

Molly’s Mum, Victoria said: “Molly has always been passionate about riding starting out at the age of 2, but has only taken up the sport competitively in the last 12 months. She may be still rather young for the classes she enters but is evidently more than match for some far more experienced riders.”
