Michaelmas Ball at Tregenna Castle Hotel

We are delighted to announce that once again we will be hosting our Michaelmas Ball this autumn in aid of the Truro High School Foundation.

The event will take place on Friday 15 November at the gorgeous Tregenna Castle Hotel in St Ives, Cornwall. Tickets cost just £46 for a delicious three-course meal plus a full evening of entertainment with music and plenty of dancing.

The Ball is open to alumnae, staff, parents and their friends as well as to girls from Year 11 to Year 13.

A huge thank you to those who have donated fantastic prizes for the raffle. We will have some incredible goodies on offer including jewellery from Michael Spiers, a gin hamper from Rosemullion Distillery and Cornish run from Tarquins.

You can also ensure a tasty start to the winter ahead thanks to Proper Cornish who are kindly donating a voucher for a box of 20 frozen pasties. And, we are very grateful to The Alverton who are offering Afternoon Tea as they prepare for a busy festive season. The stunning Tregenna Castle Resort is playing host to the Ball once again this year and we are indebted to it for its generous support of The Foundation. Every penny raised at the event is used by The Foundation to provide bursary support to enable more girls to access, and continue with, a Truro High education.

Please do dress up, round up a group, and come along and join us for what promises to be a fantastic night. It’s a great chance to get together with old friends and for parents too to catch up with those they haven’t perhaps seen for a while. Tickets can be booked individually or in groups with tables seating up to 10 people.
