Truro High School holds Prep Open Day First

Truro High School for Girls is holding a separate open day for their prep school for the first time on Saturday 12 October.

The event will allow prospective parents and their children to watch lessons that include working with 3D maths shapes, hockey, swimming, art, food technology and creative writing. Visitors will be able to join in some of the activities, tour the school and speak to teachers and pupils.

Alison Miller, head of the prep school, will also officially open a new library.

“We have a lot to offer young children from nursery through to Year 6,” she said. “More than ever it’s important to start children off with the best education possible in order for them to be settled and happy by the time exams come around. We’re hoping the open morning will really showcase what’s good about the prep school – happy, self-confident and hardworking girls.”

Open for all to attend, the event will take place on 12 October from 9.30am to 12.00 noon.
