Activities galore at Autumn Fayre

Hula-hooping, croquet, tennis, taking part in a treasure hunt and jumping on a bouncy castle were just some of the activities on offer at Truro High School's Autumn Fayre.

There were also stalls selling a variety of merchandise including flowers, books, cakes, jewellery, rag dolls and refreshments – providing a great opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together and enjoy themselves.

The event was organised by the Friends of Truro High School (FoTHS) and ran in tandem with the annual New Parents’ Tea.

“This is the first time we have combined an autumn fayre with our new parents’ gathering but it proved very successful,” said Headmistress Caroline Pascoe. “Judging by the laughter and smiles – particularly amongst those doing the hoola-hooping – great fun was had by all.”

Proceeds from the fayre will go towards the purchase of additional school equipment.
