Prep 6 Sleepover
You may be aware that we operate a reward system in Prep 6 known this year as ‘Brownies’ (for good behaviour) and Frownies’ (for bad behaviour). These are earned collectively and if the class gains more than three times more ‘Brownies’ than ‘Frownies’ over the course of the year the girls are given a treat. This year the girls and Mrs Miller have devised a new treat: a school sleepover. We will walk into town for a meal and then return to school for an evening swim followed by a movie and a really comfortable night sleeping in the Prep Hall! In the morning they will have boarders’ breakfast and be ready to go home by 9.00 a.m.
We will be holding this extravaganza on the last Friday of term, June 26. Mrs Simpson has nobly agreed to help me supervise events. We will need to charge £10 to cover the cost of the food and the lifeguards for the pool.
• Swimming kit
• Something to sleep on (inflatable mattress, camp bed, roll mat, cushions)
• Something to sleep in (sleeping bag, duvet)
• Night clothes
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Teddy (optional)
• A few wrapped sweets or a cake to share (optional and perhaps we should co-ordinate this so that they don’t end up with fifteen cupcakes each!).
