OGA Amy Key lecture 2017 @ Dining Room | England | United Kingdom

This year’s OGA Amy Key lecture promises to be a real walk on the wild side as we are delighted to welcome BAFTA award-winning wildlife presenter Steve Backshall as guest speaker.

A naturalist, writer, international conservationist and one of the world’s most daring explorers, Steve has embarked on some incredible adventures and lives to inspire the young (and young at heart!) to be bold and take a closer look at the fascinating wildlife which inhabits our planet.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Steve coming to inspire the Sixth Form leavers and our guests and we can’t wait to listen to him talk and share his enthusiasm for the natural world.

The Amy Key lecture was first established by the Old Girls’ Association (OGA) five years ago and takes its name from the school’s first headmistress. It is intended to inspire the pupils who are leaving and welcome them into the OGA. Each of the leavers is presented with a badge by the speaker.
