Pupils from Year 7 to Year 10 will be visiting Alicante over the Michaelmas half term holiday to improve their language skills and experience Spanish culture first-hand.

Located on the Mediterranean Costa Blanca, Alicante is small but vibrant city with many historic buildings and cultural attractions, magnificent beaches and leisure facilities. With the added bonus of a year round mild climate and the convenience of direct flights right on our doorstep here in Cornwall we hope that you will agree that this trip offers a fantastic chance to gain real insight into the country’s culture, people and way of life!

As well as sightseeing and tasting some typical Spanish dishes, there will also be plenty of real-life opportunities for the girls to put their language skills into practice and to develop greater confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish. Finally, and most importantly, we hope that the trip will be lots of fun and create long-lasting memories as well as a desire to continue with language learning in the future.
