Easter Ski Trip
With the huge success of this year’s fantastic Easter alpine adventure, it’s no surprise that places went in no time at all
for next year’s trip which is making a return to our favourite snow-topped retreat of Alpe D’Huez next April.
We have decided to return to our tried and trusted resort in the French Alps for a variety of reasons. Mainly because it
is ‘snow sure’ (rising to a height of 3300 metres) but also because the resort is well known to us and perfectly suited
for school trips.
It has over 250kms of interlinked pistes, with a wide and easily accessible ‘nursery’ area progressing seamlessly to the more difficult slopes. It has a glacier and the longest black run in the Alps for our increasing number of experienced skiers. The resort boasts an open air heated swimming pool and ice rink, both of which are complimentary on our lift pass. It is also a beautiful, lively and safe village for our pupils to explore.
