Children in Need
Truro TR1 2HU
The school supports a number of charities throughout the year and one that is dear to all of our hearts is Children in Need. With this in mind, we have organised a number of activities that will give staff and pupils from Reception to Year 13 the chance to get involved on Friday 17 November.
With the opportunity to don pyjamas in return for a small donation to the charity as well as bring in their much loved teddy bears there will be lots of fun to be had in aid of this worthy cause.
To remind pupils of the many children who live a less comfortable existence around the UK, and who benefit from the assistance of Children in Need, we will also be staging intend to stage ‘Pudsey’s Provisions’, a special fundraising lunch that will see staff and pupils enjoy steaming bowls of tasty homemade soup with bread, or beans on toast for our Prep pupils, followed by a delicious slice of a giant commemorative Pudsy cake, made specially for the occasion, and kindly donated by, our school chefs. A donation, equivalent to the difference in price between the soup and a normal school lunch, will be made to the charity.
