Open Morning 2018

Come and see why happy girls achieve at our Open Morning jam-packed with exciting activities and hands-on workshops to set your imagination alight on Saturday 13 October 2018 from 9.30am-12.30pm.

Imagine a place where girls are put first in everything they do, a place where ballet tutus and textiles creations hang alongside racing driver’s overalls and football kit. Imagine no more because this dream is already a reality – its name is Truro High School for Girls.

‘Happy Girls Achieve’ is our school motto and with 59% of A Level passes at A*/A and a regular place in the Top 5% for Value Added at A Level, there’s much to suggest that the policy of nurturing talent and encouraging growth for all is paying off. But it’s about more than just the lessons.

In May this year we asked our parents to choose any three words to describe a typical pupil. The most popular choices were Happy, Confident and Polite and we firmly believe that this is a direct result of watching their daughters grow up in an environment where every girl matters and every girl is supported and challenged to become the very best that she can be.

Whatever her path, whatever her dream, the school will move mountains to make it happen. The route may be different for each girl but the outcome is very often the same – Happy Girls Achieve.
