Calling all petrolheads and car lovers! This spring, Truro High became the first school in the country to be recognised as an official motorsport club by Motorsport UK.
To celebrate this first in UK automotive history, the school will be opening its gates to the general public for an exciting Classic Car and Bike Show on Sunday 8 September 2019.
The event, which runs from 11am-3pm, will feature over 150 classic cars, motorbikes and a selection of military vehicles from World War II.
Tickets can be bought on the gate and are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
If you have a classic car or motorbike, why not join us for the day and showcase your vehicle to 100s of Cornwall’s car enthusiasts?
Entry for all vehicle exhibitors is free and they may bring a guest as well. To book your place as a vehicle exhibitor please email Mr Jon Dean on email@example.com.
There will even be the chance for young budding Lewis Hamilton’s to get behind the wheel of a Greenpower Goblin race car and take a test drive around our school AstroTurf.
A fantastic day out wouldn’t be complete without a delicious spread on offer, so you’ll be delighted to know that you will also be able to sample some of the South West’s finest food and drink at the ‘Best in the West’ West Country Produce Market.
The market will feature stalls including Barnecutts Bakeries, Trevibban Mill Vineyard, Rockjam Spice, Tinbox Coffee, Tincture Gin and many more. There are a limited number of pitches still available at the market. If you would like to be involved please email Hannah Dome at Hannahd@truro-penwith.ac.uk
