We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our Spring Ball at school on Friday 10 May 2019.

The evening will see our lawns transformed into a partygoers paradise: the perfect setting to dress up in our finest, catch up with friends and celebrate the start of summer in a truly spectacular way.

Vacancies for table sponsors are available and we would love to hear from any companies willing to get involved and offer support. Sponsors will receive extensive weekly publicity up until the event, and after it, as well as recognition on a banner at the ball and the opportunity to provide promotional materials to ball guests.

Truro High School Classic Car & Bike Show @ Truro High School for Girls

Car buffs and bike fans have a treat in store as Truro High School Motorsports Club hosts its first ever Classic Car and Bike Show on Sunday 8 September.

Entry is free for all with dozens of classic cars lining up to take part alongside a dazzling array of prestige sports and super cars. Those who prefer two wheels will also be looked after with bikes, old and new, set to attend.

Organiser Jon Dean said: “We are opening our doors to Cornwall’s classic car owners and would love as many of them as possible to join us. Our girls have a real passion for motorsports and we can’t wait to see what comes through the school gates on the day.”

“We will have more modern vehicles coming along as well ranging from Ferraris to Teslas to a display of military vehicles from the Second World War from the Cornwall Military Vehicle Club. It’s the first time we have staged this event and it will mark the start of Cornwall’s Motorsports month and we really hope it’s going to be a great day.”

Alongside the car show will be a Best of the West Cornish Produce Market run by Hospitality Table Cornwall. With stalls selling everything from gin to cheese and from clothing to gifts, there will be no shortage of things to see and do.

The show takes place from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 8 September at Truro High School with plenty of free parking on site.

If you would like to exhibit your classic, or modern classic, car or bike, the school would love to hear from you. For more details please email Jon Dean at jdean@trurohigh.co.uk as soon as possible.

Dance Show LIVE! 2019 - Opening Night

We’ll be kicking off the party season with some pizzazz this November with a show-stopping spectacular that’s sure to get you up on your feet and dancing in the aisles. Friday 29 – Saturday 30 November will see our talented pupils take to the floor with a display of dazzling dance routines to rival the shimmies and chassés of Strictly Come Dancing.

The show features girls from 4 to 18 and showcases the burgeoning talent that the school has in the world of dance so it’s going to be a fabulous evening of jumping, jiving, moving and shaking all sprinkled with a liberal dusting of Truro High sequins and sparkle.

Capacity is limited and with so many performers in the show, we have decided to stagger the ticket release to make sure that all performers’ parents get first priority.

Tickets will be released to performers’ families at 9am on Monday 4 November limited to 4 tickets per family. Please email reception@trurohigh.co.uk to order. Tickets are priced at £7.50 each.

All remaining tickets will go on general release at 9am on Monday 11 November and requests for these tickets should be made by email to the address above.

We are expecting a high level of demand for tickets so please do ensure you send in your requests as soon as you are allowed to do so. If your ticket request has been successful, we will send you a confirmation email.
