In preparation for moving up next September, new Year 7 pupils are invited to spend the day in the Senior School. This New Year 7 Induction Day will be followed by a new parents’ tea in the dining room at 3.45pm.
All Prep school classes will spend half an hour in their new class with their new teacher during the day. At the end of the day (3.30p.m. for girls going into Prep 1 and 2, 3.45pm for girls going into Prep 3 – 6) parents are invited to a short meeting with the next year’s teacher. This will be held in the teacher’s classroom.
Our annual Christmas Carol Service is one of the highlights of our festive calendar. The widely used ‘Nine Lessons and Carols’ format was invented by our founder Archbishop Benson and to carry on this legacy each year we hold the service in the prestigious venue of Truro Cathedral.
Join us for an atmospheric evening of festive song, with readings and performances from our talented pupils.
Please be seated by 6.45pm.
With the city expected to be packed with festive shoppers, we’re hoping to make the journey home after the carol service a little easier for parents and will be opening up the school car parks for your use on the evening.
Please be seated in Truro Cathedral by 13.45pm. All parents and Old Girls welcome.
Girls will be dismissed from the Cathedral and everyone is invited back to the school for the end of term garden party.
Prep Speech Day will be held in the Main Hall at 10.00am.
Prep pupils will be dismissed at approximately midday and 3.30pm for Senior (post-Speech Day in Truro Cathedral).
