Cornwall Junior Disco - Postponed @ Ball Marquee, Grass Lawns

There is a great deal of excitement in Prep School about our forthcoming Cornwall Junior Disco, so don’t forget to get your tickets to ensure your daughter’s place at this fabulous, fun-filled evening.

The event will take place in our beautiful ball marquee on the lawns at school on Wednesday 6 May from 6pm to 8pm.

Prep, Pre-Prep and Year 7 girls are welcome to attend the disco and Prep School staff will be among those present to ensure everyone has a wonderful time. Many of the girls are already planning their outfits with choices so far ranging from ball-dresses to jeans and T-shirts. The rule of thumb is to arrive dressed to party, anything goes!

Many of the girls have brothers, sisters and friends from outside of school and the event is open to these children as well. The marquee is enormous so bring along lots of friends, the more the merrier!

Parents are welcome to stay and watch the party and we will also be providing a VIP (Very Important Parents) Pimms Bar where mums and dads can take time out from the music and relax.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Head of Prep, Miss Annabel Ramsey by emailing aramsey@trurohigh.co.uk

Vacancies for event sponsors are available and we would love to hear from any companies willing to get involved and offer support. Sponsors will receive extensive weekly publicity up until the event, and after it, as well as recognition on a banner at the ball. Year 7 Virtual Open Day
Nov 19 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Discover the difference at our Year 7 Virtual Open Days on Thursday 19 November at 6pm and Saturday 21 November at 9.30am.

The last few months have brought future education plans sharply into focus for many families who are now keen to find out more about the benefits of a school where every child is individually known and valued.

Children only grow up once so ensuring that they get the best possible education is a priority for everyone at the moment. Here at Truro High, students will reap the benefits of being part of a small school focused entirely on providing a first-class education for girls, no matter what the situation.

Find out how our girls’ education continued uninterrupted throughout lockdown, thanks to our virtual school platform here

Sign up today to join a virtual Q&A with our Headmistress Sarah Matthews and find out about how your daughter’s adventure could begin with us. There will also be the opportunity to organise private discussions and tours with her following the event.

Truro High has been named as the Small Independent School of the Year 2020. Our competition was whittled down from hundreds of schools nationwide to just five. We were the only school in Cornwall to be shortlisted.
