Want to find out more about joining our history-making engineering team?
This year it was announced that Truro High is the first school in the country to be recognised as an official motorsport club by Motorsport UK – a unique opportunity for budding engineers to work in motorsport at an international level whilst at school. As an official club, the school takes part in events organised by other recognised clubs and invite these top-level organisations to its own events as well. This includes students being able to train as race marshals. This will enable them to work at races all over the world and even go all the way to operating track-side at international Formula 1 events.
It’s been an exciting season for our young engineers which has seen two of our 8-strong fleet make it all the way to the International Finals at Silverstone, the home of British motor racing. The Green Goddess II even finished in the top 50 cars in the whole of the UK.
Join us on Tuesday 19 November to find out about this and much more. For more information, please email Mr Jon Dean, Head of STEM, on firstname.lastname@example.org
