Transport to School

Day Girls:
Our day girls come from a huge catchment area - from the very west of Cornwall (St Buryan, St Just etc) to Wadebridge, Rock and Padstow, to Fowey, Liskeard, St Ives, Helston and Falmouth. Some girls come to school by car, others catch public buses and trains to Truro.

The school operates one school minibus service linking Penzance, Rosudgeon, Newtown, RNAS Culdrose MQs, Helston, Longdowns, The Norway Inn and School. For more information, please contact Mrs Sue Stevens, Bursar's Secretary, on 01872 242901 or email sstevens@trurohigh.co.uk.

First Bus Group operate a school bus for Truro High School girls from Falmouth to Truro High School and return. Pick up/drop off points are Falmouth Hotel, Princess Pavilions, Green Lawns Hotel, The Moor, Killigrew (All Saints), Dracaena Ave (Esso Garage), Commercial Road Penryn (opp Just Delights), Treluswell, Norway Inn. Trip starts at 7.45am from Falmouth Hotel arriving outside THS at approx 8.25am. Return journey leaves outside THS at 4pm. For more details contact Mrs Elaine Eddy (ex Parent) on 01326 312852.


Boarders:
We ask that our boarders arrive the day before term starts (normally around 4.30pm) and that international students travel home on the last day of term. The school will provide a collection/drop-off service to London Heathrow but parents are requested to contact the school before booking flights in order to confirm the best time for arrival and departure.
