25 September 2012 / NEW OUTDOOR PLAY AREA AND NEW STAFF
"It's so important for our girls and boys to be able to get outside - even when it's raining," said Nursery Manager Tracey Kemp. "Mark has done a brilliant job and we can't thank him enough. All the children's boots are stored there and we've got plans to install a play car wash, shops and woodworking bench."
The Nursery's two new staff members are Liz Kingdom and Jo Dick. Liz, from Truro, who has worked at Truro High in various roles over the years, has been appointed as Deputy Nursery Manager.
"I'm delighted to be with the school's little learners again," she said. "It's such a happy place and a wonderful start to any child's education."
Truro High School Nursery welcomes boys and girls from the age of 3 and accepts Government vouchers. Stay and play sessions for babies and toddlers from birth to 3 years old are run every Thursday afternoon during term time from 1.45 to 3pm at a cost of £2.50 per family. The Nursery is holding an Open Morning on Tuesday 23 October from 9.30 to 11.30am. For more information, call Tracey Kemp on 01872 242916.
Ends 25 September 2012
