9 October 2014 / Specialist nursery team will provide wrap-around care
The new arrangement, due to begin in January 2015, will expand the existing service to include two year olds. It will also offer wrap-around care for 51 weeks a year, rather than just term times.
"This is a very exciting development for hard working local parents who want their children to have the best pre-school experience available," said Dr Glenn Moodie, Truro High's Headmaster. "The children will wear the Truro High uniform, learn in age-specific rooms and benefit from the facilities we offer. They will also enjoy regular forest school and beach sessions in the local area and there will be a breakfast club, after school club and holiday clubs. Tracey Kemp will continue as Nursery Manager and current staffing levels will be increased."
Naturally Learning was first established in 2012 by early years' specialists Judith Chapman and Mandy Richardson. They have three centres running in St Austell, Charlestown and Lostwithiel and are now looking forward to the Truro High opening.
"Everything we do at Naturally Learning is about stimulating creativity, embedding the early years' curriculum to inspire success and encouraging the children to be the best they can," said Nursery Director Judith Chapman. "The new Truro nursery will share the ethos of the other three nurseries and make the most of the endless learning opportunities provided by the natural environment."
Boys and girls aged two to four years old are welcome at the nursery but places are filling up fast. For more information, contact Mandy Richardson on 07769342133 of Judith Chapman on 07728376273.
