Last Tuesday, 11 schools and colleges took part in the Regional Heat of the Senior Team Maths Challenge at Truro College. It was a closely fought competition with only 3 points separating the first and second places, but Truro High School won, with Truro College second and Truro School third. The winning team consisted of Merryn Davies-Deacon, Rebecca Vinnicombe, Elizabelle Kwan and Julia Maskell. They will now go forward to the National Final in London in February. Well done! Last week, like many schools in the West Country, we had late starts and earlier ends to the school day to help those travelling far and wide in snowy and icy conditions in particular.
