6 December 2011 / OPEN MORNING AT NURSERY

An open morning at Truro High School Nursery resulted in lots of festive fun for both current and prospective pupils.

Visiting parents and children were invited to join in normal nursery activities to get a feel for what goes on. Rated ‘outstanding' in every area in Ofsted's last inspection, the nursery takes up to 20 boys and girls from the age of 3.

"We do lots of different fun things but, at this time of year, all the children get very excited about Christmas," said Head of Nursery Tracey Kemp. "They were very keen to show our visitors what they get up to - and equally keen to let them know that Santa is on his way!"

The Nursery is running its next stay and play session for interested parents on Friday 20 January from 1.30-3pm. For more information, call Truro High on 01872 272830 or visit www.trurohigh.co.uk

Ends 6 December 2011
